Call of Duty Mobile x Gundam
To launch Call of Duty: Mobile Season 6 Gundams Arrive, a collaboration between CoDM and the iconic Gundam franchise, Activision asked us to create a seeding kit for streamers that brought together Gundam’s rich lore and layered worldbuilding with CoDM’s modern, fast-paced gameplay and accessible platform. Pulling from in-game architecture, Gundam model displays, and sci-fi industrial textures, we built a fully dimensionalized display box with a magnetic closure and detailed paneling inspired by both brands. Inside, the unboxing experience included a Gunpla starter kit, mission briefing, acrylic display pieces, and a full model kit designed to sit atop the box itself, transforming the kit into a collectible centerpiece. From the ground textures to the warning labels, every detail was pulled/inspired directly from game assets and mecha references to create something that felt embedded in the world, crafted for the community, and worthy of display.

The side quest
Part of the ask was to create a step-by-step guide to help creators build the kit, display the model, and capture and share content.
To bring this to life, we used Google Gemini to generate AI images as a proof of concept. The visuals, styled in the Call of Duty: Mobile aesthetic with a first-person point of view, showed each stage of the process alongside clear written instructions.
Once approved, the AI-generated images served as references for the real photo shoot, guiding prop styling, camera angles, and retouching.
