The #AskAnyHondaDriver campaign is a testimonial series run by NorCal Honda that started around 2015. The campaign involves creating long-format web films and unique TV/web videos featuring real Honda drivers sharing their stories about their Honda vehicles and experiences. The main idea behind this initiative is to let Honda drivers tell the world how much they love their Hondas. The campaign has been very successful, generating user-submitted stories that essentially serve as free advertisements for Honda. The featured individuals often become evangelists for Honda, sharing their stories with their own networks and creating a large amount of effectively priced attention
In my role as a digital art director for the #AskAnyHondaDriver campaign, I worked closely with video editors and copywriters to create a harmonious blend of visuals and text. I strategized with the team to define the campaign's creative direction and engaged in hands-on video editing when needed. My involvement was essential in shaping the campaign's aesthetic and narrative to effectively engage our target audience.
